Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided vehicle to complete assigned FedEx Ground routes
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in South Austin and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload packages up to 75 lbs (heavier packages with equipment assistance)
- Follow delivery schedules, traffic laws, and all safety procedures
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding progress or issues
- Ensure vehicles remain clean, safe, and properly inspected
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical (all company-paid)
- Consistent reliability and ability to work weekends as required
- Physically capable of safely handling packages up to 75 lbs
- Previous delivery driver, courier, or logistics experience is preferred but not required
