NYS OMH licensed outpatient mental health clinic in Dix Hills, Suffolk County is seeking clinician to work minimum of 12 scheduled hours, combining evenings and/or Saturday hours.  Clientele includes children, adolescents, adults and families.

Depending on credential and type of service provided, reimbursement ranges from $25- $50 per appointment. Sessions conducted in Spanish provide additional compensation.

As a Therapist at our Clinic, you will be responsible for:

Carry a clinical case load that will include providing individual, family, collateral and group treatment and crisis planning.

Design and implement treatment plans for assigned cases.

Provide direct treatment to clients in accord with clinical privileges.

Involve significant others in the course of treatment.

Schedule and conduct Intakes including all assessment paperwork for pre-admissions screening (PAS).

Complete daily charge tickets for all appointments.

Prepare referral material for clients to secure services from other community resources, such as SPOA services, housing, case management, vocation placement and/or otherwise.

Participate at staff meetings, in-service training programs and consultation with team members.

Participate in training and integrate evidence-based treatment in provision of clinical services

Qualifications - External

M.A. or a Masters Degree in discipline related to the treatment of mental illness (LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, LMFT)

Bilingual (Spanish) required
