As a premier pork producer, Schwartz Farms embraces itself for a challenging and rewarding future.Fuel the FeedAs a Feed Mill Technician in Leigh, NE, you'll help power swine nutrition by keeping feed manufacturing accurate, safe, and on schedule-so animals get what they need, when they need it.Key responsibilities include:- Mix feed rations to established schedules and standards- Support timely, bio-secure manufacturing and delivery processes- Enforce biosecurity protocols and document mill records as directed- Receive and properly store ingredients/supplies to protect quality- Maintain site cleanliness, assist with minor repairs, and follow all safety requirements- Where applicable, support grain receiving, drying, storage, and ticketing/communicationRequired qualifications/skills:- Experience or demonstrated ability in feed manufacturing (and/or grain handling)- Understanding of mechanical systems; ability to perform minor maintenance- Adaptable multitasker with professionalism and strong interpersonal skills- Comfortable using electronic reports; acceptable driving recordReady to build something vital every day?
