Feed Production Supervisor

A national livestock feed company is hiring a Feed Production Supervisor to run a shift at a high-volume feed mill that serves mainly cattle customers. You'll report to the Mill Manager and be responsible for keeping your crew safe, staying on the production schedule, and making sure every batch goes out on spec. What You'll Do - Lead and coordinate the mill operators on your shift, setting priorities and keeping production moving - Oversee batching, mixing, and pelleting so formulas, volumes, and quality targets are hit - Carry out daily and weekly production schedules in partnership with the Mill Manager - Train new operators, coach your team, and hold everyone to clear expectations - Enforce safe work practices and support OSHA, FSMA, and feed quality/food safety programs - Manage sanitation, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance tasks on your shift - Maintain accurate production records and report output, downtime, and issues to the Mill Manager - Work mostly on the production floor, leading by example Background Requirements - 2+ years in feed, grain, or food manufacturing; lead or supervisory experience preferred - Hands-on experience with batching systems and pellet mills is a big plus - Knowledge of OSHA, FSMA, HACCP, or feed safety programs preferred - Strong communicator who keeps a crew motivated and accountable - Able to work shifts, weekends, or overtime when production calls for it Compensation and Benefits - $75,000 to $95,000 base salary plus bonus potential - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off - 401(k) with company match If you're ready to take the next step with a company that rewards strong performers, apply today.
