Job Description

Title: Feeder/Finishing Packer 
Location: Greenville TX 75402
Duration: 3 months
Shift: SHIFT: 7PM-7AM (night shift)
  1. Safety
  2. Makes sure all safety procedures are being followed
  3. Hold employees accountable for working within the rules and proactively identifying and removing hazards
  4. Reports any and all near misses, incidents, first aid rendered, or unsafe working conditions to the Plant Manager and Safety Manager immediately without exception
  5. Administers and models safety in his/her area of responsibility
  6. Ensures compliance with all applicable OSHA and plant safety standards
  7. Responsible for the safety and well-being of self and employees.
  8. Production
    1. Verify Job Information.
    2. Inspects for quality of printing and cutting.
    3. Feed cartons into machine.
    4. Able to restart machine as needed.
    5. Maintain machine – basic operation and knowledge of the Leary System
    6. Basic Palletizing/Packing knowledge of all jobs.
    7. Assists operators with setting up packing stations, which includes tape machines and ink jet printers.
    8. Assists operators with make ready.
    9. Assists operator with locating corrugated cases where applicable.
    10. Performs rework duties.
    11. Responsible for product safety and product quality, and reports product safety and product quality problems to Senior Management or Quality Manager.
  10. Maintenance
    1. Can assist in maintenance of machine when necessary.
  12. Housekeeping
    1. Assists with housekeeping of machine.
    2. Responsible for the cleanliness of the equipment in their assigned area.
  14. Machinery
    1. Assists operator and operator trainee with preventative maintenance.
    2. Assists operator and operator trainee with troubleshooting problems on the machinery.
