Fiber Laser Operator- Flat or Tube Laser

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Fiber Laser Operator (Flat tube or Laser) role in Marion, OH. Key Responsibilities:· Operate, monitor, and maintain fiber laser cutting equipment (flatbed and/or tube laser).· Interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to ensure accurate cutting and fabrication.· Set up and adjust CNC laser controls, tooling, and material handling systems for efficient operation.· Inspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.· Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser machines to ensure proper operation and minimize downtime.· Troubleshoot and correct issues related to laser performance, cutting quality, or material handling.· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.· Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent required.· Experience operating fiber laser cutting systems (flat or tube) highly preferred.· Familiarity with CNC controls and basic programming adjustments is a plus.· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.· Ability to read blueprints and measure parts accurately.· Capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs and standing for long periods.· Dependable, safety-minded, and team-oriented.
