    We are looking for a Field Inspector.

    Education and Experience:

    Construction or Engineering background is preferred Minimum of 2 years preferred

    Basic Skills include:

    Excellent verbal and written communication Willingness to work in outdoor weather conditions Willingness to work outside of normal business hours when required by the project.

    Additional Requirements:

    Must possess a valid Drivers License

    Responsibilities:

    Observe and inspect the Contractor's daily work Keep a daily record of instructions and directions to Contractor regarding plan and specification interpretation and any required change orders Keep daily record of communications with Engineer, Owner, and members of the public Coordinate with independent testing labs for any materials testing required by project specifications Verify quantities for payment on Contractor's monthly pay request Coordinate construction activities/schedules with residents, utility companies, and other agencies Inspect materials before installation Observe installation methods for equipment and materials Answer technical questions and provide information to Client or Engineer Participate in final inspections and acceptance of work Attend and participate in preconstruction meetings Attend and participate in progress meetings Ensure that the Contractor is installing proposed improvements per plans and specifications Assist in preparation of final record drawings
