Job: Field Engineer
Location: West Bridgewater MA 
Salary: 120,000 – 160,000, DPOE 
Duration: Permanent/Direct-Hire

We’re looking for a Field Engineer with experience in heavy civil construction, layout, and surveying to support complex infrastructure projects. If you enjoy being in the field, solving problems, coordinating crews, and driving projects forward, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Perform field layout, surveying, and line & grade for heavy civil construction projects.

• Coordinate daily work with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and field crews.

• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.

• Track daily production, quantities, and progress while preparing documentation for project reporting and payment.

• Order materials, coordinate deliveries, and help keep projects on schedule.

• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance on every jobsite.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, field engineering, surveying, or construction layout.

• Ability to read civil plans and understand underground utility, sitework, or roadway construction.

• Experience with construction surveying equipment and field documentation.

• OSHA 10 (or higher) preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Civil Engineering degree preferred, but equivalent field experience is welcomed.
