Field Installation Manager

We are seeking a technical, highly organized Field Installation Manager to oversee our field operations in the Sacramento area. In this role, you will bridge the gap between leadership and field execution, managing 10–20 active commercial service jobs and leading our installation crews to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Field Operations: Oversee 10–20 active service jobs; schedule and coordinate 1–2 person installation crews.

• Technical Support: Troubleshoot complex issues in the field and provide remote phone support to technicians.

• Estimation & Logistics: Run job estimates, scope requirements, and source necessary parts and equipment.

• Compliance & Quality: Ensure all projects meet strict quality standards and comply with safety codes (ADA, fire code, etc.).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Commercial Doors & Systems: Strong field installation and service background with automatic doors, storefront doors, hollow metal doors, solid core/wood doors, and overhead doors.

• Industrial Equipment: Hands-on experience troubleshooting dock equipment, gates, and gate operators.

• Project Coordination: Proven ability running estimates, sourcing materials, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Leadership Mentality: Prior crew supervision experience preferred, with excellent communication skills to interface with customers and internal leadership.

• Location: Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Sacramento area.
