    Job Description:

    We are seeking dedicated and skilled Carpenters and Laborers to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support carpentry work and general labor duties on the construction site. This is a hands-on position requiring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Carpentry Tasks:

      • Build and install structures such as walls, floors, roofs, and framing.
      • Cut, shape, and assemble wood, drywall, and other materials.
      • Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other wooden structures.
      • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
    • General Labor Tasks:

      • Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up scaffolding.
      • Transport materials and tools to and from work areas.
      • Operate basic power tools and hand tools safely.
      • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and procedures.
    • Team Collaboration:

      • Work effectively with other crew members and subcontractors.
      • Follow instructions from the Site Superintendent and Foreman.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar laborer role.
    • Knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools.
    • Ability to follow blueprints and building plans.
    • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
    • Basic knowledge of construction safety standards.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Construction trade certification (e.g., Apprenticeship or Journeyman status).
    • Experience in commercial construction projects.
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 30 pounds).
    • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
    • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
