Field Operations Manager

A growing commercial cleaning and facility services company is seeking a motivated, hands-on Field Operations Manager to help oversee daily operations and lead a team. This is an opportunity for someone who is willing to learn the business from the ground up, starting with hands-on field training before transitioning into a leadership role. The ideal candidate will learn the company’s cleaning standards and procedures, then take responsibility for coordinating staff, overseeing job sites, and ensuring high-quality service.

Responsibilities:

• Learn the company’s cleaning procedures and service standards through hands-on training.
• Train, supervise, and manage a team.
• Coordinate daily assignments, schedules, and field operations.
• Visit job sites to monitor work quality, progress, and staff performance.
• Ensure jobs are completed efficiently, on schedule, and to company standards.
• Address on-site issues and resolve operational challenges.
• Communicate with management regarding staffing, scheduling, and job progress.
• Ensure employees follow proper cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Help establish and improve operational processes as the company grows.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, facilities, or field operations is preferred.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn hands-on cleaning procedures and lead by example.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a small team and coordinate daily responsibilities.
• Reliable, punctual, proactive, and comfortable with hands-on work.
• Active NY Drivers License
• Ability to travel between job sites as needed.

Hours: 8 am - 4 pm

Salary: $25-$35/hour
