    Description

    Tim Flaherty is running for Cambridge City Council to bring a working-class, community-centered voice to City Hall. Our campaign is focused on connecting directly with voters, listening to their concerns, and building a strong grassroots movement.

    Position Overview
    We are hiring motivated Field Organizers / Canvassers to help us identify and engage voters across Cambridge. You'll be part of the team on the ground, knocking doors, having one-on-one conversations, and representing Tim in neighborhoods throughout the city.

    Responsibilities

    • Knock doors and talk with voters across Cambridge to share Tim's message and identify supporters.

    • Accurately record voter contact results using campaign tech tools

    • Attend team trainings and daily check-ins

    • Represent the campaign in a positive, professional way at all times

    • Meet daily and weekly voter contact goals

    Qualifications

    • Strong communication skills and a friendly, respectful approach to voter contact

    • Willingness to walk outdoors and knock on doors for several hours at a time

    • Dependable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends as needed

    • Previous canvassing, community organizing, or campaign experience is a plus, but not required

    • Commitment to electing Tim Flaherty and improving Cambridge for all residents is 

      essential.

    Details

    • Flexible schedule: 35 days per week through Election Day

    • Hourly pay: $15-$22, based on experience and availability.
