Field Service Engineer – Analytical Instrumentation

Location: California and surrounding areas

Join a growing team where you'll work with advanced analytical instrumentation while building strong relationships with customers across your territory. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on service professional who enjoys travel, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional technical support.

In this role, you will travel to customer sites to install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and validate Gas Chromatography (GC) and elemental analysis instruments. You'll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose technical issues, provide remote support when needed, manage service documentation and parts inventory, and collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure timely resolutions. You'll also have the opportunity to identify additional customer needs and contribute to business growth while delivering an outstanding service experience.

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing Gas Chromatography (GC) systems is required.

  • Experience servicing analytical laboratory instrumentation, including elemental analyzers, is highly preferred.

  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field.

  • Comfortable traveling 80–90% throughout the assigned territory.
