    Job Description

Put your technical expertise to work in the field.

We’re looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer based in the greater Philadelphia area who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working directly with customers, and having the independence to manage their day in the field.

In this role, you’ll be a trusted technical partner to our customers, helping keep critical laboratory and process equipment operating safely, reliably, and at peak performance. You’ll troubleshoot equipment, perform calibrations and repairs, provide technical guidance, and build strong customer relationships along the way.

If you enjoy a hands-on role where no two days are exactly the same, this could be a great fit.

    What You’ll Do

    • Install, configure, and optimize hardware, software, and network-connected products at customer locations.
    • Troubleshoot, calibrate, maintain, and repair laboratory and process equipment.
    • Diagnose equipment performance issues and recommend effective solutions.
    • Provide customers with training and technical guidance on proper equipment operation and preventative maintenance.
    • Identify potential issues before they become problems, helping customers minimize downtime.
    • Serve as a technical resource to customers and colleagues and, when needed, mentor other field engineers.
    • Provide on-site calibration services at high-volume customer locations.
    • Deliver a professional, responsive, and customer-focused service experience.

    What You Bring

    • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
    • Experience servicing, calibrating, troubleshooting, or repairing analytical, laboratory, or similar technical equipment.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field preferred. An Associate degree combined with relevant experience will also be considered.
    • 3-7 years of related technical service, calibration, repair, or equipment troubleshooting experience.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers.
    • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a broader technical team.
    • Proficiency with standard spreadsheet and word-processing applications.
    • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 75%.

    Salary Range:

    $57,100.00-$76,100.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
