Location: Hillsboro, OR | Full-Time

We are hiring a Field Service Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon. Our client develops environmentally friendly, high-productivity equipment solutions for semiconductor manufacturing. This is an opportunity to work directly with advanced fabrication equipment, solve technical challenges, and help customers keep their operations running smoothly.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Perform equipment repairs and preventive maintenance at customer sites.

• Support equipment installations, relocations, start-up, and qualification.

• Diagnose equipment problems and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

• Escalate complex technical issues and collaborate with support teams to resolve them.

• Provide on-site guidance to customers, coworkers, and subcontractors as needed.

• Build strong customer relationships while following cleanroom procedures and site safety requirements.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• A bachelor's or associate degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of direct experience without an applicable degree.

• Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting capital equipment.

• Experience working in cleanroom environments and following PPE and customer safety requirements.

• Use your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and Microsoft Office proficiency to complete service work accurately.

• Bring a collaborative approach and clear communication to your interactions with customers and coworkers; Mandarin fluency is an asset.

• Existing U.S. work authorization, ability to obtain a valid passport, and willingness to travel up to 20%, including internationally.
