JOB TITLE: Field Service Engineer II
COMPANY OVERVIEW: 
Anguil Environmental Systems, Inc. is a global manufacturing provider of industrial air pollution control, energy recovery systems, and wastewater treatment technologies. We are seeking to hire an Equipment Installer to specialize in managing all aspects of onsite activities of capital industrial equipment including pre-sale estimates, post-sale planning, Request for Quote (RFQ) preparation, contracting trades, and installation supervision. This is an excellent full-time opportunity for an organized and dependable detail-oriented person that is well-versed in construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals from different disciplines to achieve the best results.   
 
JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Service and EHS, the Field Service Engineer II is a skilled technician responsible for independently executing field service tasks for Anguil’s air pollution control, energy recovery, and water treatment systems. This role includes system startup, troubleshooting, and testing both in the shop and at customer sites. The Field Service Engineer II works directly with customers, represents Anguil in the field, and serves as a technical resource for less experienced engineers.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Field Service Engineer II will be expected to perform:
•Lead or assist in the commissioning and startup of new or refurbished systems across industries
•Perform system checkout, panel testing, loop checks, calibration, and operational testing
•Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues independently
•Read, interpret, and mark up electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&IDs
•Provide professional and timely customer-facing technical support, both in-person and remotely
•Accurately complete service documentation, including punch lists, field reports, and redlines
•Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Project Management) to resolve field issues
•Mentor Field Service Engineer I team members in safety and technical procedures
•Participate in job readiness meetings and shop testing
•Adhere to site-specific safety requirements, PPE standards, and Anguil policies
•Consistently demonstrate and uphold the company’s four core values through actions, decisions, and interactions

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
•Required
oCustomer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
oDemonstrates initiative, accountability, and ownership in task execution
oAdheres to safety protocols and promotes a culture of compliance
oWorks collaboratively across departments and with customers
oProficient in troubleshooting and system documentation
oAbility to wire and test components (sensors, relays, thermocouples, transmitters, VFDs, etc.)
oIntermediate understanding of PLCs and HMIs (Rockwell/Siemens preferred)
oProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
oFamiliarity with ERP systems and digital documentation tools
oProficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings
oUp to 75% travel required, including overnights and weekends
oDomestic and occasional international travel based on customer and project needs
oValid driver’s license and clean driving record
oAbility to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work in industrial environments
•Preferred
oExperience in industrial service, commissioning, or controls
oTechnical certifications in Rockwell or Siemens platforms
 
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
•Required
oAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Automation Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field
oRelevant technical experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree
oThree (3) to five (5) years of experience in field service, commissioning, or a related industrial environment
