The company is committed to delivering high-quality products and services to customers across the U.S. As part of succession planning, they are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their After-Sales Service team.

Position Summary:

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing after-sales support by visiting customer sites to perform machine repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance. This role requires strong technical expertise, industry knowledge, and the ability to build trusted relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Visit customer sites to perform machinery inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Provide technical support and ensure proper machine operation and maintenance.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve service processes and customer satisfaction.
Prepare service reports and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
Travel across the U.S. (23 business trips per month, no overseas travel).


Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Field Service Engineer, Technician, or similar role in the machinery/press industry.
Strong understanding of industrial machinery and related products.
Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Self-motivated, reliable, and customer-focused.
Japanese language skills are not required.
