Job Summary
As a Field Service Operations Manager, you will lead and optimize field service operations across the Western New York (WNY) region, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient HVAC, plumbing, and environmental services. In this role, you will guide and develop a team of field supervisors and service coordinators, drive operational performance and revenue growth, and maintain full P&L accountability for the region.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary team across Plumbing, HVAC, and Environmental Service operations, ensuring alignment and accountability.• Oversee contract execution, scheduling, and service delivery to meet client commitments and quality standards.• Own regional P&L, managing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance while driving revenue growth.• Build strong customer relationships and resolve escalations to ensure satisfaction and retention.• Coach and develop team members while fostering a high-performing, safety-first culture.• Optimize operations through process improvements, resource management, and adherence to industry standards.• Ensure continuous improvement by tracking performance metrics and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, or a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.• Proven leadership experience in the mechanical service industry, with full P&L responsibility for operations exceeding $5M in annual revenue.• Demonstrated experience managing HVAC, plumbing, or facilities service teams preferred.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general business systems.• Strong ability to develop and deliver accurate quotes for HVAC repairs and replacements.• Excellent customer service and leadership skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.• Effective collaborator with strong conflict resolution skills, fostering a results-driven, team-oriented environment.• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
