What You''ll Be Doing

• Supervise installation and start-up of high-tech machines at customer locations
• Travel nationwide to perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on machines (warranty and non-warranty)
• Fabricate on-site, including welding, layout, and sheet metal work
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues
• Collaborate with in-house manufacturing teams to identify and resolve potential field service problems
• Train both customers and fellow employees on machine operation and best practices
• Prepare detailed service reports and provide feedback to internal teams
• Support the Technical Service Manager and Field Service Supervisor with special projects and initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 5-7 years of hands-on factory experience, including welding and machine installation

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent

• Skills:

• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting

• Fabrication, welding, and layout skills

• Strong communication - both written and verbal

• Able to perform physical tasks (lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, climb, bend, etc.)

• Basic math skills and solid reasoning ability

• Flexibility: Must be comfortable with frequent travel (65-75%)

• Bonus: Experience training others in the use of complex machinery

Work Environment
