Field Service Technician

Position Title: Field Service Technician Level 1
Location: Rancho Dominguez, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: FTE (Direct)
Salary: $65,000/yr

Who we are looking for / Requirements:
Ability to learn technical subjects.
Mechanical aptitude.
Strong motivation and results oriented.
Good communication skills.
Experience or education in a mechanical field (CNC highly preferred).
Maturity and self-reliance.
Good organizational skills.
Physically fit: able to lift up to 75 lbs., walk long distances, climb on machines, bend, twist, squat and handle tools dexterously.
Drivers license in good standing and able to qualify for coverage under the company insurance program.  

Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing:
 
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines and control systems at customer facilities using a variety of tools and technical skills.
Travel within an assigned local territory to visit multiple customer sites each week and respond promptly to service requests.
Work independently with minimal supervision to diagnose technical issues and deliver effective solutions.
Manage service appointments, work orders, and customer needs to ensure timely, high-quality service.
Identify opportunities to recommend and sell replacement parts, maintenance services, and additional technical solutions to generate revenue.
Maintain an organized home office and manage company-provided service vehicle operations or air travel as required.
Support factory operations when service demand is limited or when directed by service supervision.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication, reliable service, and technical expertise.
