Location: Milwaukee, WI / Madison, WI
Pay: $26 $31 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM

Bear Staffing is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician for a direct-hire opportunity with a leading provider of modular buildings and temporary workspace solutions.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a background in general construction, carpentry, electrical work, and plumbing who enjoys troubleshooting repairs and working with customers. You will service and maintain modular buildings at customer locations within the branch territory.

HVAC experience is a plus, but it is not required.

The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair modular buildings at customer locations.

• Complete general construction, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs.

• Perform HVAC service work if qualified and appropriately licensed.

• Explain repairs and service needs to customers professionally.

• Coordinate with branch personnel, customers, and contractors to complete service calls efficiently.

• Drive a company vehicle to customer locations.

• Maintain safe work practices and follow customer-specific jobsite requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Hands-on general construction and carpentry experience.

• Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs.

• Valid driver s license and a driving record that meets company requirements.

• Ability to meet company motor vehicle record (MVR) screening requirements.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service priorities.

• Basic computer skills.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred:

• HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.

• Welding experience.

• General contractor s license.
