Field Service Technician

MSI Metro Sales Inc. is seeking an Employee-Owner, Field Service Technician, internally known as Technical Representative, to join our Duluth, MN team. The primary focus is to set up and calibrate new machines. Additional areas as needed will be: assisting with installs, fill in as support to the warehouse and other duties as assigned while training onsite.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Maintain and properly document inventory and required paperwork.
• Unboxing and setting up new machines.
• Update settings on Machines.
• Calibrate machines based on guidelines.
• Assist with machine installations as needed.
• Deliver parts or components to service technicians in the field.
• Complete assigned training and certifications.
• May lift, push, pull up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Act as a back-up to the warehouse team as needed.
• Adhere to MSI Metro Sales, Inc.'s service policies and procedures.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• HS diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Because we provide a company vehicle we require a Clean driving record and Valid Drivers License.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to attain CompTia A+ and NET+ certifications.
• Local candidates preferred.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.

Base Pay: $18-$20 an hour + individual performance bonus and additional incentives
