Field Service Technician - Hydraulics

General Summary: Performs the day-to-day operations of the Mobile/Field Service Technician responsibilities ensuring delivery of excellent customer service.   Related activities include, but are not limited to, responding to customer repair and/or service calls, completing reports, and performing inventory maintenance on truckEssential Job Functions:Field Service & Technical Operations

• Performs hydraulic hose assembly and installation for customer applications
• Completes maintenance, repair, and/or service work for all assigned jobs within assigned area(s) of expertise
• Troubleshoots technical problems and identifies and implements effective solutions

Product Knowledge & Customer Service

• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of available products, offerings, and services
• Identifies and recommends products and/or value-added services to customers to support their needs and maximize the Exotic Advantage

Documentation & Reporting

• Completes required documentation accurately and generates reports in a timely manner

Vehicle & Inventory Management

• Conducts routine vehicle maintenance including weekly washes and nightly interior cleanliness
• Coordinates all vehicle maintenance work with the Facilities department
• Schedules and inspects assigned vehicle per DOT requirements (where applicable)

Supplemental Job Functions:

• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School Diploma
• Previous work experience (industrial sales environment preferred)
• Valid chauffer’s license
• Previous experience working on a computer--MS Office and POS/Business System preferred
