Repair and maintenance of testing equipment and facilities for vehicle emission testing stations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform routine diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repair of vehicle OBD analyzers, computers, PC peripherals, and other lane systems following set schedules and procedures.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on buildings and fixtures as assigned and complete all required documentation.
Assist in maintenance and repair of other company facility and electronic systems such as lighting, doors, alarm, minor plumbing, telephone, and computer peripheral systems.
Report on assigned work and assist in the completion of records, reports, and other documents.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and analyze appropriate documents to determine cause of malfunctions in test and facility equipment.
Interface with subcontractor representatives in repair and maintenance of equipment.
Provide support to Illinois Environmental Protection Agency audit teams as needed.
Perform other tasks as required by the Technical Support Manager.
