Cleaver Brooks is looking for a is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team. The Field Service Technician IV performs the most complex installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and modifications of equipment at the job site. The technician installs, commissions, tunes, repairs, and troubleshoots Natcom and other industrial burners, Nebraska I.W.T boilers, and auxiliary equipment. The technician completes project status reports, site reports, and combustion datasheets. The technician performs in-shop equipment inspections and Field Acceptance Tests. The technician performs all other pertinent service-related duties as directed by the Service Manager.

Essential Duties:
Travel Requirements: 75% travel- Domestic and International; Must have or have the ability to obtain valid US Passport
Other Duties: Promote sales of spare parts and identify potential opportunities for new equipment sales. Others as directed.
Internal Contacts: Moderate (6-15%)
Make contacts that sometimes involve controversy where established methods or procedures require interpretation.
External Contacts: Frequent (36-65%)
Make contacts that involve controversy where available practices, procedures, methods and policies do not provide precedents and/or judgment in the form of recorded actions and necessary outcomes.
Education Required: High School Diploma/GED
Preferred: 1 year of additional Training/Certification
Experience Required: Minimum 8 years experience consisting of:
Physical Skill and Effort: Work requires skilled, accurate, rapid, and closely coordinated manual skill. Work requires mostly moderate physical exertion. Must be capable of entry into confined spaces such as windbox and furnace through standard access door sizing.
Working Conditions and Hazards: Limited exposure to one or two extremely disagreeable features. Exposure to hazards that may result in short term work-related absences.
