Field Specialist, Field Services Support
- Southern Chicago Area.
- $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
We're seeking a skilled Field Specialist to service, troubleshoot, and repair advanced office equipment at customer locations throughout the Southern Chicago area. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain multifunction printers, copiers, and related office technology.
- Manage a designated service territory, inventory, and customer relationships.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other technicians.
- Identify equipment upgrade and service opportunities.
- Complete service documentation and administrative tasks accurately.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of field service or related technical experience.
- Technical school training or equivalent experience.
- At least one industry certification.
- Strong electro-mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the territory.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move equipment as needed.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Daily travel to customer locations.
