    Position: Superintendent

    Location: Baltimore Metropolitan Area, Montgomery and Frederick Counties.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Compile detailed construction schedules and update timelines as needed.
    • Coordinate daily work activities among crews and subcontractors.
    • Monitor job site safety and enforce all safety guidelines.
    • Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and project specifications.
    • Schedule and oversee inspections, working closely with government inspectors.
    • Prepare clear and accurate daily reports documenting progress and issues.
    • Utilize your knowledge of construction methods and process equipment installation to solve problems and keep the project moving forward.

    Requirements

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Safety knowledge, including OSHA 30 Certification
    • Strong knowledge of construction practices and process equipment installation.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and teams efficiently.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
    • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the role of construction Field Superintendent, for projects similar to those Lewis constructs.
    • High school diploma or acceptable equivalent is required; higher education is a plus.
    • Experience in delivering projects with construction costs in excess of $5 million is a strong plus.
    • Both new construction and renovation experience-historic restoration experience is a plus.
    • Fluency in Microsoft WordTM, ExcelTM, OutlookTM, and MS ProjectTM is required.
    • Experience working with specialized construction software, such as TimberlineTM, Primavera P6TM, E-BuilderTM, Vela/BIM 360TM, and other similar software is a plus.
