    Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • The Field Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day on-site management of residential remodeling and new construction projects.
    • This role ensures that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to high standards of craftsmanship and client satisfaction.
    • The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, an excellent communicator, and a hands-on leader who can coordinate multiple trades and maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Project Coordination
      • Oversee all field operations and act as the primary on-site representative of the company.
      • Coordinate daily activities with trades, suppliers, inspectors, and internal team members.
      • Execute construction according to approved plans, scopes of work, and schedules.
      • Ensure adherence to building codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations.
      • Manage jobsite logistics, deliveries, and sequencing of work to maintain progress and efficiency.
    • Quality & Schedule Management
      • Monitor progress daily; anticipate and resolve issues before they impact the schedule.
      • Maintain up-to-date project documentation including daily logs, photos, change orders, and inspection reports.
      • Conduct quality control checks at each phase and ensure punch lists are completed prior to turnover.
      • Collaborate with Project Managers and Designers to ensure design intent is executed accurately.
    • Client & Trade Relations
      • Maintain professional, respectful communication with homeowners, architects, and trade partners.
      • Represent the company brand positively in all interactionson site and in the community.
      • Participate in client walkthroughs and progress meetings as needed.
    • Site Safety & Cleanliness
      • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance at all times.
      • Keep jobsites organized, secure, and clean to ensure a safe and professional environment.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 5+ years of residential construction experience (remodeling or custom homes preferred).
    • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and building codes.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project schedules.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Tech-savvy: comfortable with construction management software (BuilderTrend or similar), digital drawings, and cloud-based documentation.
    • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
    • Carpenter or hands-on construction background preferred.
