About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Drains Field Supervisor to oversee daily field operations, support technicians, and ensure drain service jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. This role is responsible for coordinating schedules, troubleshooting complex jobs, maintaining quality and code compliance, and developing team members. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service
What You’ll Be Doing

- Installer Support: Provide Lead Installers with technical and operational support when field conditions, workflow, production, or quality issues arise.
- Troubleshooting: Assess jobsite problems, stabilize situations, determine the appropriate next steps, and coordinate solutions for operational or sales-related issues.
- Crew Coaching: Train and coach Lead Installers and Helpers on workmanship, planning, communication, productivity, safety, documentation, and company standards.
- Scope Verification: Confirm work matches the sold scope and Camera Technician's line-out. Identify and escalate changes in field conditions that affect the approved plan.
- Project Progress: Track projects against estimated bid days, identify delays, determine their causes, and coordinate corrective actions to prevent unnecessary labor costs and project overruns.
- Documentation Review: Verify progress photos, quality-control photos, safety documentation, and final job records are complete before critical work is covered.
- Customer Experience: Address job-related customer concerns professionally and communicate issues promptly to prevent escalations.
- Safety & Property Protection: Reinforce safe excavation and work practices, proper containment, property protection, equipment use, and clean, organized jobsites.
- Communication & Reporting: Keep the Sewer & Drain Manager informed of quality issues, project delays, crew performance, recurring coaching needs, and situations requiring management or Camera Technician involvement.
