Puma Staffing is looking for a mechanically inclined individual who can perform industrial equipment repairs, testing, rigging, troubleshoot and repair various electrical mechanical rotating equipment based on the candidate’s skillset and mechanical aptitude.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>

• Understand and follow all safety processes and procedures including the use of required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Read and understand job work orders to determine job status, work authorization/limitations, estimate, description of problems and/or work scope.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Complete required documentation for each job accurately and on a timely basis. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Have the capability to work alone, as crew member, or as crew leader; Ability to work well with others in a team effort.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair AC and DC motors, generators, gear boxes, pumps, and numerous types of industrial equipment. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Rigging of AC and DC motors, generators, gear reducers, gear boxes, pumps, and numerous types of industrial equipment of various weights and sizes.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Maintain assigned truck and service equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Perform special projects, including large and/or special shop jobs. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ability to understand, perform and retain various job -related training and operational and safety procedures. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ensure customer expectations are met and questions are addressed. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ability to travel and stay overnight on assignments. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Perform all other duties or functions as assigned by the department manager. <\/span><\/span>

  Qualifications:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/p>

  • High School diploma, plus trade school, vocational/technical school, military, or on -the -job training and/or certifications.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Laser alignment and field balancing ability preferred, but not required. <\/span><\/span>
