About the role:
This role is for aField Service Technician specializing in HP Indigo Digital Printing Presses. In this role, you’ll be the face of HP for our customers, delivering exceptional on-site service, diagnostics, and repairs. You’ll work from your home base inthe greater South Carolinaarea, traveling to customer sites to ensure theirdigitalprinting solutions run flawlessly.
This is more than a technical role—it’s about building trust, solving problems, and keeping businesses moving, whilemaintaining high customer satisfaction levels and addressing customer-related issues promptly.
What You’ll Do
Install & Configure: Set upHP Indigo Digital Printing presses, including hardware, software, and network components.
Maintain & Repair: Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
Customer Training: Educate customers on proper usage, color management, and best practices.
Project Execution: Follow installation and escalation plans to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Proactive Support: Use monitoring tools to identify and prevent potential issues before they impact operations.
Customer Engagement: Provide clear updates, resolve concerns promptly, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
What You Bring
Technical Expertise:
Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills
Knowledge ofdigital printing presstechnology
Solid computer/networking skills
Education &Experience:
High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
Typical candidate possesses 4-6years in field service, technical support, orprinting pressrepair
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift, bend, and stoop throughout the day
Specialized Skills:
HP Indigo knowledge
Printing industry knowledge
Ability to integrate hardware/software solutions
Location:
Candidatemust reside inthe greater South Caroloinaarea.This is a field-based role with80%travel to customer sites. Travel distances willvary day-to-day.
The pay range for this position is$25to$38USD per hour (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Benefits:HP offers a comprehensive benefits package for this position, including:
