The Fluid Technician is responsible for supporting hydraulic fracturing operations by mixing, monitoring, and maintaining fluid systems at customer locations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring fluid performance, operational efficiency, and safety throughout frac operations. The ideal candidate will have prior frac experience and a strong understanding of oilfield service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, mix, and monitor fracturing fluid systems according to job requirements.
Assist with the loading, handling, and transfer of chemicals and additives used in frac operations.
Monitor fluid properties and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain accurate records of fluid usage, inventory, and field reports.
Troubleshoot fluid-related issues and communicate effectively with field supervisors and customer representatives.
Inspect, clean, and maintain fluid handling equipment and related tools.
Adhere to all company, customer, and regulatory safety policies and procedures.
Participate in pre-job safety meetings, job planning, and post-job reviews.
Work collaboratively with frac crews and other field personnel to ensure efficient and successful operations.
