About the Role:
Fitness Machine Technicians LA is looking for a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our growing team in the Los Angeles, CA area. This is a hands-on role where you'll be out in the field every day, keeping fitness equipment running at its best for gyms, hotels, and home clients across the region. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of commercial and residential fitness equipment
• Travel to client locations throughout the greater LA area to complete service calls
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, strength equipment, and more
• Order and install replacement parts to restore equipment to full working condition
• Communicate professionally with clients on-site, providing updates and recommendations
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts inventory
• Manage daily schedule and route efficiently to maximize service calls completed

Requirements:

• 2+ year of experience in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical repair (fitness equipment experience a plus)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a field service environment
• Ability to read service manuals, wiring diagrams, or technical instructions
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively without direct supervision
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Comfortable with physical demands including lifting, bending, and kneeling throughout the workday. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer or tablet skills for work order and scheduling software
