Final Inspector

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performing mechanical inspection of completed product to verify instructions and specifications.
• Validation that all quality requirements have been met by reviewing in-process inspection, assembly and test records.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop orders and work instructions.
• Perform inspection for overall appearance of product to include panel fit-up, paint finish and cleanliness as required.
• Perform simple mathematical functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Use hand & power tools, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and pneumatic tools.
• Work as a part of a team.
• Work at a fast pace in an assembly environment.
• Make every effort to focus on doing-it-right to make sure the customer is happy or satisfied with our units.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervision.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 15-30 lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs periodically.
• Must be able to assist others in 2 person lifting requirements up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, crawl, climb or bend for up to 8 hours.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Manufacturing/Quality field.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing process.
• Mechanical assembly skills
• Attention to detail
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Transparent communication
