Location: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Finance Accounting Operations Tech is responsible for performing diverse operational financial and policy activities of a less routine nature.

How you will make an impact:

• Maintains compliance activity, exceptional customer service and data processing and balancing.
• Receives, validates and enters information into finance systems.
• Audits documentation for accuracy.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Resolves more routine issues or questions.
• Reconciles various system outputs and receives and processes special requests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum 2 years relevant work experience; or any combination of education and experience which provides an equivalent background.
• This position is part of our Wellpoint Federal division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• AA Degree in accounting preferred.
• Excel knowledge strongly preferred.
• Basic accounting and general ledger experience preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $20.66 to $21.69
