Our client is one of the world's largest investment firms.  They have started a new investment division geared towards investing in insurance assets, including life insurance, annuities, P&C, Long-term care, etc.  This is a small investment group just starting out in a massive investment firm.  Our client is looking for a Finance Director (FD) to build out the finance and administrative function of this division.  This is the top finance professional for this team.  The FD will interact daily with internal and external stakeholders.  Internal stakeholders could include the investment teams, portfolio management teams, legal, tax, operations, etc.  External stakeholders could include third-party administrators, legal, auditors, etc.  The FD must be able to hire a team and create an infrastructure to support the new division.  This includes executing NAV reviews, investor capital reporting, US GAAP valuations, expense allocations cash management, etc.  If you want to be part of a highly visible growth team inside one of the world's largest investment companies, email your resume to sflaherty@daleyaa.com.

Requirements:

• CPA or CFA

• Big 4 experience

• 10+ years in either an investment advisor firm or public accounting firm

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities

• Knowledge or experience creating infrastructure

• Strong knowledge of systems, processes & controls

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Target salary $165.0K-$185.0K
