    Description

    Amazon seeks a Finance manager as FP&A Lead supporting the Portable Devices and Kids+ (PDK) team and the NA Sales & Marketing Team (NA S&M) facilitating financial reviews and providing insights into business performance and forecasts, drive efficiencies on fixed and variable costs, Headcount (HC) reporting and forecasting, and continuously improving FP&A processes to improve our financial stewardship of the business.

    This candidate will be a strategic thinker, highly analytical, creative, and have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage financial responsibilities and support decision making in a rapidly evolving business. This role requires a self-starter with strong modeling skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This role also has regular interaction with senior executives, various business units, and multiple stakeholders across Amazon and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Lead reporting for Planning, Forecasts and Actual reporting cycles
    • Own headcount costs and management
    • Summarize financial performance and drive Ad hoc analyses as needed for executive leadership
    • Work with finance and business users to determine and provide the metrics, reports, and analyses needed to manage and act on the business.
    • Develop scalable solutions that utilize the highest standards of analytical rigor and data integrity.
    • Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon's data resources and know how, when, and which to use.
