Finance Manager, Category Finance - Cheese at a Glance….

The Category Finance Manager, Cheese, is a vital member of the MCCS Category Finance team, supporting the Sandwich Cheese Category and responsible for P&L ownership and providing financial analysis and insights to drive the business forward. Collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations, this role coordinates reporting, analysis, and action plans while delivering insights to stakeholders and identifying key action items.

What's on the menu?

  • Own category-level monthly and quarterly forecast submissions, including risks and opportunities
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, RGM, Demand Planning, and Operations to understand performance drivers and convert them into actionable financial insights
  • Analyze category P&L performance across volume, mix, pricing, trade, productivity, and investment drivers
  • Build and maintain category inputs for key planning cycles including AOP, 1YP, and 3YP
  • Develop clear reporting and decision-support materials that improve visibility to category and platform stakeholders
  • Identify process improvements that increase forecast quality, efficiency, and clarity
  • Support innovation, productivity, and ad hoc business cases with sound modeling and recommendations

  • BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Prior finance, accounting, consulting, and/or FP&A experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, IRI, SAP, and/or Essbase Financial Reporting systems is a plus

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$104,200.00 - $130,200.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate''s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
