A high-growth, venture-backed healthcare company is seeking a Finance Manager to help scale its finance function during an exciting stage of growth.

This is a rare opportunity for someone who wants to go beyond traditional FP&A and play a major role in building a finance and accounting function from the ground up. The company has already established a strong financial foundation and is now looking for a high-impact finance leader who can help create the infrastructure needed for its next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting.
• Partner with leadership on strategic and operational decisions.
• Oversee outsourced accounting and ensure financial accuracy.
• Help build and eventually lead an in-house accounting function.
• Develop scalable processes, controls, and finance infrastructure.
• Support fundraising, investor reporting, and special projects.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team growth.

Ideal Background

• 5-8+ years of finance and accounting experience.
• Healthcare experience required; capitation or value-based care experience strongly preferred.
• Experience spanning both FP&A and accounting.
• CPA and/or Big 4 background highly preferred.
• Startup, high-growth, or VC/PE-backed company experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to build processes, systems, or new initiatives from scratch.
