Description

One of Kforce's greatest financial services clients in Boston, MA is in search of a Finance Manager - Tech Opportunities. This role is hybrid, 3 days a week, in office. Key Responsibilities:
  • Review fund performance, capital activity, and investor reporting
  • Oversee financial reporting, valuations, and fund administration activities
  • Coordinate annual audits and support external service providers
  • Monitor cash activity, liquidity, and fund transactions
  • Analyze portfolio company performance and support periodic reviews
  • Assist with investor communications, reporting materials, and information requests
  • Ensure compliance with governing agreements and internal policies
  • Collaborate on process improvements, technology adoption, and special projects
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and ad hoc business needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
  • 6+ years of experience in accounting, finance, investment operations, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, analysis, and operational processes
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working with financial systems, business applications, and emerging technologies
  • Experience utilizing data, automation, AI tools, or reporting solutions to improve efficiency
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; Familiarity with reporting or visualization tools is a plus
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or similar are preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
