Role Description The Finance Specialist is a part-time, remote role responsible for supporting the financial health and day-to-day financial operations of Juxtapoze Media & Web Design. This role includes preparing, reviewing, and reconciling financial statements, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. The Finance Specialist will analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities, and provide clear reports and insights to leadership to support decision-making. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining accurate accounting records, ensuring timely and compliant financial reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial processes with project and business needs.\n

• Strong foundational knowledge in Finance and Accounting, with the ability to apply financial principles to day-to-day operations.

• Ability to prepare, review, and interpret Financial Statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Demonstrated Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data, identify trends, and support budgeting and forecasting.

• Effective Communication skills to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders and collaborate with remote team members.

• Proficiency with accounting and spreadsheet software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Excel or Google Sheets).

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a remote environment.

• Prior experience in a small business, agency, or project-based environment is beneficial.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
