Key job responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of finance transformation programs and technology projects, representing accounting requirements for SAP S/4 HANA implementations and system integrations while communicating results and recommendations to senior leadership
• Partner with cross-functional teams and advise senior leaders on strategic finance initiatives, building financial frameworks and developing mechanisms that drive business insights and process improvements
• Dive deep to identify opportunities for large-scale financial solutions that improve, scale, or simplify finance tools, technology, and processes across teams and organizations
• Own financial reporting and analysis for the business area, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies while monitoring data integrity and establishing auditable processes
• Drive process improvements through automation and innovation, leveraging AI and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and deliver meaningful insights that support operational and strategic decision-making

A day in the life

You"ll start your day collaborating with cross-functional partners on SAP S/4 HANA integration requirements, then dive into analyzing complex financial data to provide insights that inform strategic decisions for satellite and ground station operations. Throughout the day, you"ll lead program delivery discussions with senior leaders, solve ambiguous challenges by building financial models, and identify opportunities to leverage AI for process automation. You"ll also mentor team members on financial controls, participate in system design sessions, and work on initiatives that directly enable Amazon Leo"s mission to scale global space infrastructure.
