Primary Function:

The Financial Accountant is responsible for assisting with the financial management of the dealership with a focus on month end financial reporting, costing and posting of deals, calculation of sales payrolls, and balance sheet reconciliations. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards, and policies of Willis Automotive.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly financial statements and supplemental reporting
• Prepare payroll calculations for sales staff that are on commission-based pay plans
• Cost and post all new and pre-owned car deals
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Participate in the annual budgeting process, and provide monthly reporting comparing actual results to budget
• Various other reporting and reconciliations as required

What we need from you:

• Detail oriented and organized in work
• AA degree in Accounting preferred but not required
• Three plus years accounting experience
• Expert excel skills
• Ability to meet assigned deadlines
• Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office application
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with CDK dealership management software preferred
• Ability to work well in a team environment
