Financial Analyst 2

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to support our Customer Solutions team by providing key financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, financial modeling skills, and experience in forecasting and budgeting. This role will collaborate with management to influence strategic decisions and improve financial performance through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and consolidate financial data including budgets and income statement forecasts

  • Build and support financial models for forecasting and business planning

  • Perform cost analysis and report on spending trends

  • Analyze financial data using KPIs and provide actionable recommendations

  • Research accounting issues and ensure compliance with internal controls

  • Produce sophisticated reports on financial status, risk, and variance analysis

  • Conduct comparative and statistical analyses using spreadsheets and financial software

  • Support business case preparation and evaluate new and existing projections

  • Consult with leadership on financial strategy and long-term planning

  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance financial operations

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 5–10 years of experience in financial planning, modeling, analysis, and budgeting

  • Proven working experience as a Financial Analyst

  • Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel), financial software, and databases

  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, forecasting, and risk assessment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with internal controls, auditing, and compliance

  • Ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable format

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and packages

  • Outstanding presentation and stakeholder engagement capabilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a deadline-driven environment
