Financial AnalystJob Description Summary
The Financial Analyst will report to Dauch's Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, with responsibilities supporting the Finance organization's technical accounting and SEC reporting activities. This role will also be responsible for maintaining records of organization's financial activity in accordance with GAAP, organizational standards, and in compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, while assisting senior accounting and finance staff with projects and activities.Job Description:
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
• Completed bachelor's degree in accounting
• 2+ years of experience in accounting/financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial statements
• Experience working in public accounting and/or with a global public company preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
• Experience applying GAAP in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Working knowledge of Oracle ERP, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) preferred
