LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing government contractor organization in San Diego seeking a Financial Analyst to join their finance team.
This position offers the opportunity to support complex programs, partner with operational leaders, and contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting efforts. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where financial analysis directly impacts business decisions.
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and budget analyses
Perform variance analysis and communicate key trends to leadership
Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
Monitor program performance and project costs
Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making
Partner with program managers and cross-functional teams to evaluate financial performance
Assist with month-end close activities and management reporting
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial controls
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
2+ years of financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting experience
Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
Experience with ERP systems preferred
Excellent communication and analytical abilities
