    Description

    The Worldwide Retail Growth & Development team within Grocery Stores Finance seeks a detail-oriented Financial Analyst who will support the Real Estate Optimization pillar, developing expertise in asset management, occupancy planning, and portfolio optimization across our retail footprint. This role offers significant growth opportunity for a candidate who can rapidly demonstrate ownership and expand into the full scope of the pillar"s responsibilities.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Support remodel strategy and investment decision support for existing retail store performance
    • Assist with occupancy planning and reporting across all banners, including rent approvals
    • Execute asset management processes including lease disposition tracking and exit planning for non-operating locations
    • Support impairment testing and portfolio optimization initiatives including asset retirement obligations and fair market value analysis
    • Provide finance support for Instore Retail Partnerships within WWGS locations
    • Maintain rigorous compliance with GRC requirements and cross-functional financial controls
    • Develop proficiency across multiple financial systems and reporting platforms

    A day in the life

    Your day will be a blend of portfolio optimization support, asset management execution, and cross-functional partnership. You"ll navigate real estate financial data, ensure compliance across multiple workstreams, and build expertise in the analytical frameworks that drive our retail portfolio decisions. As you ramp, you will take on increasing ownership of workstreams with a clear path to leading them independently.
