Financial Analytics Engineer


Compensation: Up to $120,000 (DOE)
Location: Orlando, FL | Hybrid

Must be based in or within commuting distance of the Greater Orlando area.

Key Responsibilities



  • Develop predictive analytics solutions supporting financial forecasting, business planning, and performance analysis

  • Build financial models, analytical datasets, and reporting tools that improve business decision-making

  • Analyze large, complex datasets using SQL and cloud-based data platforms

  • Design and enhance executive dashboards, KPIs, and recurring financial and operational reporting

  • Support data engineering initiatives, including ETL processes, automation, data validation, and pipeline optimization

  • Partner with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to develop scalable analytics solutions

  • Improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and analytics processes across the organization

  • Present financial and operational insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Business Intelligence function



Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in Financial Analytics, Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, FP&A Analytics, or Data Engineering

  • Strong SQL skills with experience querying, transforming, and analyzing complex datasets

  • Experience with cloud-based data warehouses such as AWS Redshift or similar platforms

  • Experience with predictive analytics, forecasting, financial modeling, statistical analysis, or business performance modeling

  • Experience using Python, R, or similar programming languages for analytics, automation, or modeling

  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality best practices

  • Experience with Power BI, DAX, Microsoft Fabric, APIs, Salesforce, or similar BI platforms is highly preferred

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into meaningful business insights

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
