Financial Analytics Engineer

Compensation: Up to $120,000 (DOE)
Location: Orlando, FL | Hybrid

Must be based in or within commuting distance of the Greater Orlando area.

Key Responsibilities

Develop predictive analytics solutions supporting financial forecasting, business planning, and performance analysis
Build financial models, analytical datasets, and reporting tools that improve business decision-making
Analyze large, complex datasets using SQL and cloud-based data platforms
Design and enhance executive dashboards, KPIs, and recurring financial and operational reporting
Support data engineering initiatives, including ETL processes, automation, data validation, and pipeline optimization
Partner with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to develop scalable analytics solutions
Improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and analytics processes across the organization
Present financial and operational insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Business Intelligence function

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
3+ years of experience in Financial Analytics, Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, FP&A Analytics, or Data Engineering
Strong SQL skills with experience querying, transforming, and analyzing complex datasets
Experience with cloud-based data warehouses such as AWS Redshift or similar platforms
Experience with predictive analytics, forecasting, financial modeling, statistical analysis, or business performance modeling
Experience using Python, R, or similar programming languages for analytics, automation, or modeling
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality best practices
Experience with Power BI, DAX, Microsoft Fabric, APIs, Salesforce, or similar BI platforms is highly preferred
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into meaningful business insights
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
