A fast-growing manufacturing and production company based in San Diego, California is seeking a Financial and Revenue Accountant, US Operations to support its expanding U.S. business. The organization operates within a global environment and offers the opportunity to take ownership of core accounting functions, improve processes, and partner with international finance teams in a high-growth, collaborative setting.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Financial and Revenue Accountant, US Operations are:

  • Manage end-to-end accounting operations for the U.S. entity, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue accounting.
  • Oversee cloud-based fee and revenue management processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Support month-end close activities and financial reporting in partnership with the global finance team.
  • Administer U.S. payroll processes and coordinate with external payroll providers.
  • Maintain financial records, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with climate and regulatory reporting obligations.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve controls, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Partner with international finance stakeholders to support the continued growth of the U.S. business.

Profile

The successful Financial and Revenue Accountant, US Operations is:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5+ years of accounting experience within a high-volume environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue accounting, and month-end close processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite.
  • Prior experience in a technology, software, manufacturing, or production environment preferred.
  • Exposure to multi-currency transactions and international business operations is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a standalone U.S. finance role.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and eager to drive process improvements in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
  • Thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture where adaptability and initiative are highly valued.
