    Description

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance across the organization. This role ensures financial accuracy, strengthens internal controls, and supports leadership with strategic financial insights and reporting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiencies across manufacturing and business processes

    • Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making

    • Prepare and present accurate, timely financial reports in compliance with GAAP standards

    • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure timely processing and reconciliation

    • Manage general ledger activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis

    • Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes aligned with organizational goals

    • Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

    • Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license

    • 5–10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience

    • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, with strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management

    • Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles

    • Proficiency in financial reporting, cash management, and forecasting

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights

    • Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong understanding of internal controls and financial compliance requirements

    • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail

    • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders

    • Demonstrated financial acumen with a strategic and proactive problem-solving approach

    • Ability to operate both hands-on and strategically within a collaborative team environment
